Agency representing stars such as George Clooney to move into 12 Hammersmith Grove
Top Hollywood agency CAA, which represents film stars including George Clooney, Tom Cruise and Will Smith is moving into Hammersmith.
CAA, short for Creative Artists Agency has signed a lease to occupy the entire 8th and part of the 7th floor of 12 Hammersmith Grove or 12HG.
The agency, dubbed the real life Jerry Maguire's by the office building's owners Aberdeen Asset Management and regeneration specialist U+I, also represents many other stars from the movie, music and sports worlds including Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Cristiano Ronaldo and Meryl Streep.
A second company, Perform Media Services is taking over the building's sixth floor. Perform Group work with TV channels in countries to buy the rights to top events, such as the UEFA cup, and pioneer new ideas for global multichannel sports coverage and content including new sports OTT platforms (internet based viewing) and betting solutions.
The two companies will join existing tenants Medidata Solutions, specialists in clinical technology, and the owners say this will mean 45% of the ten floor building, north of Lyric Square will be let.
Along with its sister building, 10 Hammersmith Grove, 12HG is turning Hammersmith town centre into one of London's busiest media and creative centres. 10HG is already home to two TV giants, Fox International Channels and UKTV, along with hotel group Accor and cigarette company Philip Morris Limited.
The two buildings, built on a former car park, also inclused two restaurants, Bill's and Byron's annd spinning studio Boom Cycle.
