Both restaurants to be ready for customers by end of year
As we revealed in July. Bill's restaurant is set to open on the ground floor of Hammersmith's newest office building, 10 Hammersmith Grove, alongside hamburger restaurant Byron's.
Development Securities PLC, the leading property investment and development company, and partner Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Property Trust (SWIPPT) say they have exchanged contracts on two restaurant units at its newly completed prime office development, 10 Hammersmith Grove, to Bill’s and Byron.
The developers say the arrival of these two expanding restaurant brands is a major boost to Hammersmith’s vibrant bar and restaurant scene, broadening the existing offer which includes Wagamama, Kerbisher & Malt, and La Petite Bretagne as well as several popular gastropubs such as The Grove Tavern and The Dartmouth Castle.
Bill’s and Byron have taken 3,369 sq. ft. and 3,110 sq. ft. of space respectively. Bill’s restaurant features an award-winning all day offer from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, with bespoke Bill’s retail products also available to take away off the shelf.
Byron’s focus is on proper hamburgers made with quality beef from small Scottish farms, freshly minced every morning.
Both restaurants are situated in a prime position within Hammersmith town centre within the attractive new public realm on the ground level of 10 Hammersmith Grove which fronts Lyric Square.
The restaurants are within 50 metres of Hammersmith tube station and offer outside seating areas as well as mezzanine seating.
Fit out works on both units will begin immediately, with both restaurants due to open by the end of 2013.
There is now just one empty restaurant unit remaining at the development.
Julian Barwick, Director, Development Securities says: " We’re pleased to sign two such high quality and well-regarded restaurant brands as Bill’s Produce and Byron. These lettings further demonstrate the broad appeal of the building and its fantastic location.
"Both of these exciting outlets will further complement the extensive range of quality retail and leisure amenities available in Hammersmith town centre.”
The developers are holding a launch event on Thursday September 12 to celebrate completion of the building.
