Wates Appointed as Builder of 12 Hammersmith Grove


Work on new town centre office building to begin immediately

 

Development Securities PLC , the developer behind town centre office development 10 Hammersmith Grove has appointed construction giant Wates to build the neighbouring 12 Hammersmith Grove, and says work on site will begin immediately.

Last month, the developer it has secured funding of £92 million for the building work and launched a website for the new building, using the words "Great things come in pairs".

12 Hammersmith Grove, which is due to be completed early in 2016, will provide 11 floors of office space along with new restaurant and additional public space.

Developed on the site of a former car park, 10 and 12 Hammersmith Grove are in the centre of Hammersmith adjacent to the underground station and overlooking Lyric Square.

As well as office space, 10 Hammersmith Grove houses two popular restaurants, Bill's and Byron's and its new neighbour will also have cafes, restaurants and public space.
