The fourth suspect to be charged with the murder of Fulham man Darcy Austin-Bruce outside Wandsworth Prison has been named as Leon De St Aubin, 33, of Curran House in Lucan Place, Chelsea.

He was arrested on March 24 on suspicion of the 2009 murder of the 20-year-old two years ago, and appeared at South Western Magistrate's Court on March 25.

Mr De St Aubin, who works as a fireman, was remanded in custody until a plea and case management hearing on July 1.

Three other men have already been charged with Mr Austin-Bruce’s murder, including two Fulham residents.

Rupert Ross, 29, of Vera Road and Khori Hines, 34, from Rosebury Road and are awaiting trial later this year along with Casper Smith 27, of no fixed address.

Mr Austin-Bruce, who was 20, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso at around 2.30pm on May 1 2009, on Heathfield Road, Wandsworth, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

He lived in the Fulham Court estate, where his death led to second murder. Shortly after Mr Austin-Bruce's funeral, Anthony Otton, 28, was shot dead after attending a wake for the murder victim at Geranium House in Fulham Court.   At the time there was widespread speculation that this was a revenge attack.

Police described the shooting as a "rarity in the borough" and stepped up patrols around the estate to reassure residents.
