H&F's Traffic Free Christmas Markets Are Back

At King Street this Saturday followed by North End Road in December

Hammersmith & Fulham is hosting two traffic free markets this Christmas, beginning in King Street in Hammersmith this Saturday 1 December, followed by Fulham's North End Road on Saturday 15 December.

The pedestrian-friendly King Street will host more than 100 seasonal food, drink and gift stalls alongside live music performances across the festive market and on the stage at Lyric Square on Saturday from 10am till 5.30pm.

Flier for Hammersmith Christmas Market

The line-up of street performers will include the Have a Banana One Man Band giving lessons in how to play spoons and use a banana as a musical instrument.

Not to mention, the Mistletoes Belles, seven-feet tall Robins, Mr Cool Snowman and the main man himself paying a visit to Hammersmith.

There will be live music and entertainment acts performing on the Lyric Square stage throughout the day plus four busking pods scattered across the market with everything from Christmas tunes to pop, soul, jazz, a cappella and trumpets on the bill.

There will be a similar exciting line-up of entertainment at Fulham's Christmas Market in North End Road on Saturday 15 December from 9am to 5pm.

They include the Christmas Cats Choir, Rubella, Salmonella and Buttons and stilt-walker Bridie the Tea-Lady, plus another visit from Santa.

The market will also offer more than 150 stalls lining both sides of the road, selling arts and crafts, clothing, fashion accessories, food from around the world and much more.

The North End Road Christmas market forms part of the popular series of traffic-free seasonal street markets which take place throughout the year on the 131-year-old high street.

You can find out more about both at H&F Council's page on Markets.
