Can You Help Celebrate Fulham?

Call for local businesses to join our annual summer festival

The annual Celebrating Fulham festival is back at the end of June, promising a week of excitement for residents, businesses and visitors to SW6.

The festival, which will run from Saturday June 26 to Sunday July 4, will showcase the very best of our area’s attractions, businesses and culture and provide the chance to discover some of Fulham’s hidden treasures.

It’s also an great way to encourage people to put Fulham first and shop locally, with the launch of the I Love Fulham £5FiverFEST.

This initiative will see Fulham businesses creating special £5 deals to tempt local people to open their purses. Examples could include a £5 lunch, a £5 head massage, £5 dry cleaning offer, the list is endless!

These tempting offers could be for the whole period of Celebrating Fulham or just for one day. If you would like your local business to take part in the ‘I Love Fulham £5FiverFest’, contact the Fulham Town Centre Manager on 020 7835 5695 or by email at nicki.burgess@lbhf.gov.uk before Friday May 21.

In return for taking part in the scheme, local businesses will benefit from free promotion in the Celebrating Fulham brochure and they will also receive window stickers and posters to advertise the scheme.

Cllr Frances Stainton, Cabinet Member for Parks, Culture and Heritage says: " If all 50,500 residents in Fulham aged over 16 years spent an extra £5 in Fulham during Celebrating Fulham it would boost the local economy by £252,500K in one week!”
