Week kicks off with action packed first day
Celebrating Fulham is here!
The hugely popular festival of the very best of our local food, culture, history and entertainment starts on Saturday June 27 and runs through till Sunday, July 5.
The week kicks off at on Saturday with the Fulham Feastival, taking place at Fulham Island in Jerdan Place.
The Feastival offers a mezze of food stalls from some of
Fulham’s best loved restaurants and
eateries including The Blue Elephant, The
Parson’s Nose, Best Mangal and Emporio
Store, with cookery demonstrations as well as food sampling.
Live jazz is from The Jimmy Beckley Trio, and there is children’s
entertainment and
street performance,
table football, a
puppet show and
more. The Official opening is by Cllr Frances
Stainton, Cabinet Member for
Parks, Heritage and Culture at
1.30pm.

The Walham Wanderer Walk
Modern day Fulham Broadway is celebrated for its pubs, bars and restaurants. This is home to Chelsea FC but really it is a medieval village, where you can still just make out the old Green and the pond. Come on a Walham Green Wander and get the 'back story' on today's buzzy Fulham Broadway.

Petite Messe Solennelle

Choral Evensong. A feast of music
including Thomas Tallis’ famous 40 part
motet Spem in Alium Nunquam Habui,
C.V. Stanford’s Magnificat for Double
Chorus, and Gustav Holst’s Nunc Dimittis.
A massed choir drawn from across London,
led by Ben Woodward, will perform these
splendid works.

Basic Car Maintenance Checks
