Are You Ready to Celebrate Fulham?

Week long programme of exciting local events

The full programme for this year's Celebrating Fulham, a week long event running from Saturday June 27 to Friday July 5, is now available.

Celebrating Fulham showcases the best in our history, talent and entertainment and offers the chance to discover some of Fulham’s hidden treasures.

The week kicks off on June 27 with Fulham FEASTival, which will include street and music performances, cooking demonstrations and food sampling from 12 noon to 4.30pm at Fulham Island, Jerdan Place, Farm Lane by St Johns Church.

Visitors will be able to sample food from many of Fulham’s favourite eateries, including Thai food at the Blue Elephant stall, pizza from Il Pagliaccio, fine Turkish cuisine from Best Mangal and roast hog from The Farm.

FEASTival, which last year attracted over 1,000 guests, will also feature jazz music from the Jimmy Beckley Trio.

Jimmy Beckley is a universally known name in the world of jazz and has played with Nina Simone.

Councillor Frances Stainton, cabinet member for parks, culture and heritage, who will officially open Celebrating Fulham at 1.30pm says: " There is a huge variety of attractions for people of all ages throughout the week, including a walk to discover the longest moat in Europe around Fulham Palace, televised Wimbledon tennis and cocktails, art exhibitions and music of all kinds. Then there is also the St John's Church flower festival and story telling too. Come and see for yourself. It is going to be a great week."
