Council asks for feedback as next traffic free event is planned
Hammersmith and Fulham Council says that 15,000 people visited North End Road's Summer Market on June 27 and is now asking them for feedback as plans are made for two further markets in September and December.

The council says the market's 150 stalls sold a wide range of tasty food, including from many businesses on the road, such as Best Mangal, which gave kebabs away for free. Dickenson butchers supplied the meat for the Bistro by Shot stall to grill.
Those with a sweet tooth were more than catered for, with many stalls such as Olivier’s Bakery selling cakes and other treats.
Charities and good causes raised both awareness and funds for their work.The Stoll Foundation, supporting ex-servicemen, sold gifts, Sir John Lillie and Melcombe primary schools sold canvas bags designed by pupils and Soup4Lunch sold refreshing smoothies, cooling people down in the hot weather while raising funds to transform kitchens and gardens in sheltered housing.
Street performers added to the buzz, including the high energy ZHL Ensemble, who got people dancing despite the heat. There were also great live musicians laid on by individual stallholders and businesses, including theBarrow Boy Pub and the Easy Studio Music School.
More live music and good food followed in the evening with a live band atThe Cock Tavern, electro swing at The Lucky Pig, karaoke at The Goose puband a Bavarian brass band at the Octoberfest Pub.
The Summer Market was organised by the council working together with the North End Road Action Group (NERAG) of local residents, businesses and stallholders. It followed a traffic-free Festive Market last December. With NERAG, the council is driving the revival of North End Road as a vibrant shopping and leisure destination.
The Summer Market also launched the annual week-long Celebrating Fulham festival, which runs till Sunday July 5 and showcases the area’s history, talent and entertainment and gives residents and visitors the chance to discover some of Fulham’s hidden treasures.
