Fulham Gets Set to Celebrate from Saturday June 27
Nine day festival begins with Summer Market in North End Road
Events will continue in the evening with an After Party in local pubs and restaurants, along with other events taking place acros SW6.

Come and walk around Fulham’s exclusive Peterborough Estate, south of Parsons Green. Hear about John Kendall who bought Christian the lion cub from Harrods in the 1960s and later released him into the wild via George Adamson’s Born Free Foundation in Kenya. Led by Blue Badge Guide Simon Rodway.

Walk and Talk in Margravine Cemetery - Monuments that Reflect the Past.
Learn about the architecture, monuments and vegetation of this remarkable cemetery dating from 1869 in a tour organised by the Friends of the Margravine Cemetery.

Recital of summer songs Russian and Polish, English and Scottish and many more by Maria Ejsmont,

Admission free with donations going to the Homeless Project.

Events during the next week include music, film, talks, tours, theatre, wine and cookery classes, special offers and fun and games for kids.
There will also be the annual Fair on the Green treating residents and visitors to a family fun day in Parsons Green with rides, performances and over 100 stalls on July 4.
Festival organiser Maya Donelan says: " There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Why not watch Wimbledon on a roof terrace, learn to bluff your way with French wines, join in a sing-along, see a play or a classic film or take in a concert?
" Or you could go walking with bats, explore monuments in Margravine Cemetery, take a lion house tour, go foraging for food or just stroll around Charing Cross Hospital’s unique art collection."
Cllr Andrew Jones, cabinet member with responsibility for the local economy and the arts, says: "“The council is delighted to be backing this popular Fulham festival. I hope people will enjoy themselves and let us know what they think."
