A Festive Light Display begins at the end of November
October 28, 2024
A season of holiday cheer is promised at Fulham Palace this year with a varied line-up of Christmas events for both families and adults. From the Christmas fair, a festive light display and Father Christmas meet and greet to hands-on crafts and workshops, there’s something for everyone at this historic landmark.
To get you set for advent, wreathmaking workshops are taking place Sunday 24 & Monday 25 November. Guided by the Palace’s garden team, participants will leave with a handmade wreath using seasonal foliage from the Fulham Palace gardens to decorate their homes.
This year’s family-friendly Christmas Fair takes place on Saturday 30 November & Sunday 1 December offering an array of festive activities for all ages. Attendees can shop for holiday gifts, enjoy live performances and indulge in seasonal treats.
The night before the family fair there will be an adults only Christmas fair at twilight (Friday 29 November) where you can enjoy holiday shopping while sipping a complimentary glass of fizz. Local artisans and vendors will offer a curated selection of handmade gifts.

Father Christmas is making a special stop at Fulham Palace and there will be a chance to meet him in the historic library or the splendid Bishop Sherlock’s room. Little ones can share their Christmas lists, pose for a photo and receive a gift from Father Christmas. He is dropping in on Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 December.

Every evening from 28 November to 22 December from 5pm to pm there will be a Festive Light Display at Fulham Palace Park’s Illuminated Garden Trail.
It is a chance to explore the 13 acres of stunning botanical gardens, rare trees, and a walled garden, all transformed into a winter wonderland with thousands of twinkling lights.
There will also be boutique shopping, fire pits for toasting marshmallows, and a selection of food and mulled wine as well as circus performers and magician Markele, as seen on Britain's Got Talent. Father Christmas will also be in his grotto for a small fee of £4.00, with all proceeds going to support children’s homes during the holiday season.
It is recommended to book online in advance for the display. Tickets are £14.95 for adults, £13.95 for concessions and £6.95 for children. Children under 3 can attend for free, but their tickets must be added at the time of booking
Tickets for all events except the light display are available on the Fulham Palace website.
Fulham Palace is at Bishop’s Avenue, (SW6 6EA).
