Carol Singers Come to Sainsbury's

Local schools will entertain shoppers

Sainsbury's in Townmead Road has invited children from local schools to visit the store and show off their carol singing skills.

Children from the Servite School in Fulham Road will be at the store on December 3, giving two performances between noon and 1.30pm.

On December 14, it is the turn of Langford School pupils, who will also give two lunchtime performances from midday to 1.30pm.

Sainsbury's is also hoping children from other schools will come along and add their voices.

As well as bringing festive cheer, these events will also raise funds for its chosen charity of the year, Jack Tizard School in Shepherds Bush.

The Townmead store and Sainsbury's in Fulham Broadway will also be joining forces to host stalls at the Christmas Lights party in Jerdan Place on December 4.

Staff from the stores will sell mince pies and help children design their own gingerbread men, all in aid of Jack Tizard School and the Fulham Broadway supermarket's Chosen Charity, Breast Cancer Haven.
