All Welcome at Chelsea and Westminster Open Day

Go behind the scenes at Fulham Road hospital on Saturday

The event will feature all the popular stands and behind-the-scenes tours from previous years. The theme of this year’s event is “Safe”—a Trust value which is more relevant than ever following the CQC inspection.

As always there will be live music to keep visitor entertained. This year, steel band Solid Steel will kick things off, followed by performances by Trio Manouche, All That Malarky and Dick Laurie's Elastic Band.

New for 2015, and with the hospitals' proposed merger in mind, are stands which spell out the histories of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital.

Also on offer are stands covering a range of our services including learning disabilities, maternity, pharmacy, end of life care and the popular Health care MOTs.

The  hospital's charities will also have their own stands where visitors will be able to find out about the latest fundraising campaigns and the cutting edge equipment for which they are raising money.

The Teddy Bear Hospital will be back once again and there will be many other fun and educational activities for children and families to enjoy.

Foundation Trust Governors will be available throughout the day in the Information Zone to speak to members about the hospital and the work they do representing patients and our local community.
