Before dropping into Television Centre's recently opened White City House
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall joined staff celebrating the one year anniversary of online fashion giant Yoox Net-a-Porter arriving at West London’s newest business district White City Place, in Wood Lane.
The couple were given a tour of the company's tech hub by British Fashion Council CEO Caroline Rush and Yoox Net-A-Porter Group’s CEO Federico Marchetti and given an insight into the fashion group's use of Artificial Intelligence to design a personalised future shopping experience.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall also joined a coding session with more than 60 local schoolgirls, aged 11 to 13, who were participating in a hackathon and fashion-related digital games as part of YNAP’s partnership with Imperial College London.
The royal couple then took a trip down Wood Lane to Television Centre, the former, BBC TV Centre, where they stopped off at the recently opened White City House for tea and cakes.
White City House is the latest branch of the popular private members club Soho House.
It it is in the largest club in the Soho House portfolio and includes a hotel, restaurant gym and rooftop swimming pool.
