Celebrate Star Wars this weekend at Westfield
Westfield's Disney Store is inviting Star Wars fans to join in-store events and competitions, including a chance to meet a Droid and learn the skills of the Jedi, throughout this weekend.
Events run from May 2 until May the 4th, which for reasons obvious to fans has been designated Star Wars Day, with its own hashtag on Twitter #starwarsday.
On Saturday May 3, a Star Wars Droid will be making appearances throughout the day at the store to meet and greet fans.
Disney Store guests can enter a competition to win 12 collector cards based on Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and an exclusive Star Wars pin and will be able to purchase Star Wars products in stores for the first time.
Further Star Wars events are planned for later in the year to celebrate the launch of the much-anticipated animated series Star Wars Rebels, ahead of the series’ launch on Disney XD and Disney Channel this autumn.
