Creating two new floors of office space for Net-A-Porter
Westfield’s plans to add a second rooftop extension at the shopping centre have been approved by Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
The plans will create two new floors of office space for online luxury retailer Net-A-Porter’s global headquarters, which has been based at the Wood Lane site since 2009.
This new extension is in addition to a separate two floors which were approved in May, housing a "reality theme park" for children called KidZania and extra retail space including the expansion of Marks and Spencer,
Westfield said this first extension will lead to the creation of around 400 local jobs.
Net-A-Porter meanwhile, which describes itself as the world's premier online luxury fashion retailer is currently offering around 60 jobs at its offices above Westfield's Village, in areas ranging including marketing, buying, IT, finance and customer care. You can find out more here.
