McGettigan's Pub Leads Summer Broadway Revival

Along with other new names Amorino and Hanger SW6

The long awaited launch of Irish pub McGettigan's at 1 Fulham Broadway is now set for Tuesday July 5.

McGettigan's, part of a long established Irish chain which opened its first pub in Dublin 50 years ago has taken over the site three storey site from Brogan's and as it reports on its Facebook page, is now putting the finishing touches to the interior.

The chain, which now has 11 pubs across Ireland and the Middle East plus a recent launch in New York, promises to bring big name bands over from Ireland and serve high-quality food.

McGettigan's is just one of the new names arriving on Fulham Broadway this summer. A few doors down at 8 Fulham Broadway is ice cream store, Amorino, promising Gelato Al Naturale in a range of familiar and exotic flavours when it opens within the next few weeks.

Around the corner at 461 North End Road is Hanger SW6, a Steakhouse and Liquor Bar, which launches in style this week by embracing American Independence Day with an special brunch for the weekend.

Starting on Saturday 2 July, the all-day brunch features American classics, such as steak ‘n’ eggs (hanger steak with fried duck egg, hash browns and hanger relish) and a brunch bap with venison sausage, fried egg and sticky onions.

Hanger SW6 will be offering bottomless bloody hangers and bellinis for £15 per person for a two-hour sitting.
