A 36 year-old man from Acton will stand trial for a rape allegedly committed in Hammersmith's Margravine Cemetery after entering a plea of not guilty at a court hearing this week.
Troy Benjamin is accused of a sexual assault on a woman in her thirties close to the chapel in the Barons Court cemetery early in the morning of Saturday June 4.
He formally denied a single charge at Isleworth Crown Court on July 4 at a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Benjamin, who gave his address as Shakespeare Road, W3, will now stand trial, which is due to begin on November 14.
He was remanded in custody.
