Father Christmas and Christmas Workshops
Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without a trip to see Father Christmas. This year bring the kids to meet him at Fulham Palace. Whether they have been nice or naughty bring them along, they will meet Father Christmas and receive a festive gift. Send letters to the elves at the North Pole via our Christmas Post Box – to make sure those gifts are ready in time!
While at the Palace join in the Christmas craft workshops. Different each day, you can make Victorian style Christmas cards, play with Victorian toys or make decorations which can be hung on our trees or taken home.
It’s National Tree Dressing Day on Sun 2 Dec, help celebrate the palace's wonderful trees with fabulous decorations.
Tickets £10 per child, accompanying adults free.

Pantomime - Sleeping Beauty
In a magical kingdom Princess Aurora is born. Evil witch Maleficent casts a wicked spell over the baby Princess at her christening party. On her 16th birthday the spell comes true when Aurora pricks her finger and falls asleep for a hundred years. Will a handsome Prince be able to find Aurora, break the evil spell and wake her from her slumber?
This is an enchanting story with laughter and music, ideal for young children or a first experience of theatre. Held in the Fulham Palace marquee, a relaxed afternoon where children get close to the action seated on the floor right in front of the stage.
This wonderful piece of children’s theatre will have you, crying, laughing and booing! Suitable for children up to 14 years, performance approximately 70 minutes, no interval.

Festive Family Drop In
Tired of the shops and the commercial side of Christmas?
Come along to our festive family drop in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and get creative.
Drop in to the Jessie Mylne Education Centre.
£2 per child, no booking required just come along on the day from 2pm - 3.30pm.
Suitable for 5-12 year olds. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Christmas Baubles Workshop
Bored of buying shop-bought baubles? Would like something original and only you have?
In this workshop for adults, local artist Claire Palfreyman will show you how to design personalised baubles for the Christmas tree.
Workshop attendees will take home two unique, stylishly decorated baubles, ready to hang.

A Victorian Christmas
A festive exploration of the Yuletide our ancestors would have known. The Victorians virtually invented the modern idea of Christmas with crackers, presents, cards and Christmas trees. We explore the origin of these traditions along with some rather more unsavoury customs that have thankfully died out!
Presented by Blast from the Past we invite you to enjoy festive song, a Yuletide Mummers’ Play (forerunner of pantomime) and a Christmas tale of the court of King Arthur featuring damsels in distress, deeds of chivalry and an epic quest!
With high drama, low comedy, delicate melodies and full-throated harmonies – join us in front of the open fire in our atmospheric Great Hall and recapture the simple delights of A Victorian Christmas,

Lecture Series – London Head Gardeners – Mike Batie
Mike Batie – Head Gardener, The Hurlingham Club talks about Hurlingham, the past, the present and the future.
Mike is responsible for the 42 acres of gardens at this private members club established in 1869.

Christmas Carols in the Victorian Chapel
Fulham Palace presents an evening of traditional Christmas Carols in its beautiful Victorian Chapel with the All Saints Church choir.
Seasonal refreshments will be served in front of the roaring fire in the Drawing Room Café. This is a very special way to celebrate the festive season.
The evening is from 7pm - 8.30pm. Tickets £15, book early, always a sell out!
