Campaigners aim to update public on revised King Street scheme
Save Our Skyline, the campaigners fighting plans for the redevelopment of the western end of King Street are holding a public meeting tonight, Tuesday September 27 at Rivercourt Methodist Church in Rivercourt Road at 7pm.
Save Our Skyline, a group of concerned local residents, in association with more than 30 residents' associations and community groups, say the meeting is being held to update local people the recently revised scheme and to advise them of the best course of action.
The group say changes in the revised scheme (taken from the Planning Supporting Statement Addendum Document) are as follows:
Full Planning Application
Listed Building Consent
Conservation Area Consent
Save Our Skyline is also urging people to write a letter of objection to the Council before the deadline of September 30. You can see more information about writing a letter on the group's website.
