Shut from Broadway to Bridge Avenue for emergency repairs by Thames Water
Thames Water has closed King Street between Hammersmith Broadway and Bridge Avenue on Tuesday evening, 20 February for emergency repair works on two water leaks identified earlier today.
According to H&F Council, one of the leaks was found under the road near the King Street branch of Marks and Spencer.
Eastbound traffic in King Street heading to Studland Street is not affected. However, buses that normally run westwards along King Street are being diverted via Shepherd's Bush Road.

The new closure is in addition to Thames Water's work on King Street repairing the road surface following last month's burst water main which caused major flooding.
This work is scheduled to last for two to three days during this week, with temporary traffic lights installed to manage the two-way traffic flow.
The clear up work follows a burst water main which led to major flooding on King Street throughout the evening of 26 January.
Meanwhile Goldhawk Road, which also suffered severe flooding after a major burst pipe, is still closed near the junction with Hammersmith Grove.
The damage is more extensive here than at King Street and Thames Water expect the repairs to last until 3 March. Thames Water has now reopened Hammersmith Grove to northbound traffic only. On reaching the junction with Goldhawk Road, traffic can ONLY turn left (westbound).
