21 firefighters and four engines tackled blaze on Thursday morning

London Fire Brigade say the fire in flats by Hammersmith Bridge has been brought under control on Thursday morning, February 25.
The fire started at around 9.15 am, with part of a fourth flat flat alight and smoke billowing out onto Hammersmith Bridge Road and across the Thames.
Four fire engines came to the scene and parked between Digby Mansions and the northern approach to the bridge, as seen in the picture above.
21 firefighters from Hammersmith, Fulham and Chiswick fire stations tackled the blaze and at 12.40pm, the Fire Bridge tweeted @LondonFire: "The flat fire on #Hammersmith Bridge Road is under control. Thankfully no one was injured."
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
