Twenty forced to flee blaze in Hammersmith
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in flats on Queen Caroline Street in Hammersmith, this afternoon (30 October).
The fire damaged a five roomed flat on the first floor and 20 people left the five storey block before the Brigade arrived.
Nobody was injured as a result of the fire according to London Fire Brigade.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Wandsworth, Chelsea, Hammersmith and Chiswick fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1.01pm and the fire was under control less than an hour later.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
