Fulham's Fabulous Royal Lodge is Up for Sale

And set to achieve SW6's highest ever property price

Hurlingham Lodge, once the London home of now separated royal couple Princess Caroline of Monaco and Prince Ernst of Hanover and Fulham's most fabulous mansion is up for sale - at an equally fabulous price.

The low built detached mansion overlooking Hurlingham Park, for sale through two local agents, Savills and Aylesford is described as " undoubtedly one of the finest houses to be found in South West London" with " superb family accommodation, its own self contained office building, staff accommodation and underground parking for 10-12 cars."

According to the agents the mansion, which as you can see is surrounded by its own extensive gardens, has six bedrooms, two dressing rooms, five bathrooms, four reception rooms, study, two cloakrooms, laundry room, cellar, garden, heated swimming pool, separate staff cottage and a self contained office building with further staff quarters.

The agents are not disclosing the mansion's current sale price, but as the price was £18 million the last time it was for sale in 2006, the price is now expected to be well above £20 million - a historic record high for Fulham.

This is the latest in a string of homes for sale in SW6 priced above £10 million. Lilybridge House, a "vast" house located at the southern end of Seagrave Road recently changed hands for £18 million and New Lodge, also overlooking Hurlingham Park was up for sale for £16 million.

At St George's development Chelsea Creek in Imperial Road meanwhile, the Tower Penthouse is available for an astonishing £17 million, and on Parsons Green, the historic Aragon House is still for sale priced £11 million.
