London Square Buys New King's Road Office Block
London House to be demolished and 25 flats created
Developer London Square has bought what it calls "a prime development site" at 100 New Kings Road in Parsons Green.
The site, an office building at the foot of Munster Road called London House has been acquired from New Kings Road (Jersey) No.1 Ltd with planning permission to provide a new residential scheme with 25 private apartments, as well as a separate retail unit.
London Square already have one local site in Farm Lane, where it is spending £130 million building a residential square with surrounded by 40 upmarket houses.
The planning permission for London House is as follows:
Demolition of the existing building; erection of a part six, part three storey building to provide a mixed use development comprising retail at ground floor level and 24 residential units (9 x 1 bedroom flats, 13 x 2 bedroom flats, 2 x 3 bedroom flats) on the upper floor levels, with associated cycle parking, refuse store and installation of satellite dish at roof level.
Work has already begun on the site, with completion expected by next year.

London Square also say that 60% of its other Fulham development in Farm Lane have now been sold off-plan.
The development has been built on the site of the former Farm Lane Trading Centre and the original Edwardian archway has been retained, leading to a private landscaped square.
The developer is currently selling seven three, four and five bedroom homes in Farm Lane, with prices between £2,600,000 and £4,150,000.
