Beach Themed Restaurant Comes to Broadway

"Urban Oasis" Spiaggia aims to open by end of next month

A new beach themed Italian restaurant called Spiaggia is coming to Fulham Broadway at the end of September.

The 40 seater restaurant, at the foot of North End Road  opposite Waitrose, promises to be an "urban oasis" in the centre of Fulham.

Spiaggio will  be on two floors, with a restaurant upstairs and
lounge bar area and a games room downstairs.

The restaurant's creator, Mish Haddad says he wants to create a space that is unique in London where customers can enjoy relaxed all-day dining and be transported to the Italian Riviera.

Spiaggia will be designed using warm yellows and cooler blues with fun features including sun loungers and neon signs.

The food will include piadinas, Italian flatbreads with a range of fillings, Italian tapas called piattini, salads, pasta dishes and spiedini - skewers from the robata grill. There will also be a range of beach themed cocktails and Italian wines.

The restaurant aim to open by the end of September.
