Santa Maria Pizzeria Set to Open in Fulham

Popular Ealing eaterie launching second branch on Waterford Road

A second branch is due to open next month on the site recently vacated by Thai Rice on the corner of Waterford Road and Kings Road.

Santa Maria Pizzeria promises to offer traditional Neapolitan Pizza from a wood fired oven. In November, owners Pasquale and Angelo tweeted a picture of the oven in Fulham being constructed, saying @santamariapizza: "Building the new oven is a long process. Still doing it."

When completed, the oven will be similar to the one in the restaurant in Ealing, which has been open since 2010, when it was named London's Best Pizzeria by TimeOut.

This year the restaurant, in St Marys Road did it again, by winning the neighbourhood restaurant category of TimeOut's Love London Awards.
