Shoppers at the market will be able to enjoy a tree hug with some amazing real-life ‘human hedges’ that come straight from the pages of a fairy tale and marvel at the stilt walkers, lively squirrels and more.

The Autumn Market will also feature a Gardeners’ Question Time, offering a chance to quiz Leek FM’s expert gardeners Pete and Ged Moss.

H&F Council says the Autumn Market, which follows the traffic free Spring Market which attracted more than 18,000 visitors, is part of its efforts to revive the Fulham street, which is celebrating its 130th birthday this year.

"The North End Road traffic-free markets have grown in size and popularity as we look to make this street a major shopping destination in the area," said Cllr Andrew Jones, H&F Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration. "The Autumn market will once again bring the historic street to life."

Woring with the council to boost the market, North End Road Action Group (NERAG) is made up of residents, businesses, market traders, local organisations and the council with an aim of reviving North End Road as a thriving high street with the market at its core.
