Lady Margaret School Throws Summer Garden Party

Fun for all ages on Saturday in Parsons Green

Lady Margaret School is holding its annual Summer Garden Party on Saturday June 22 from 11am to 3pm.

The LMS Summer Garden Party is based on the traditions of a local English Village Fete and will include stalls serving Pimms, strawberries and cream, freshly made sandwiches, plants, books, bottle tombola as well as jewellery, crafts and fashion made by the girls.

There will also be a bouncy castle and children’s games, BBQ, raffle and silent auction of gifts donated by local businesses, restaurants and bars to be drawn on the day.

Richard Sanderson, Acting Head teacher of the Parsons Green school says: " The support we are shown every year by local residents as well as the school's families is just fantastic.

" It's always a fun and relaxed occasion for all ages and raises much needed funds for us. Everyone is welcome and there is something for everyone."

Organisers of the party are hoping it will raise even more funds than usual as the annual Christmas Fair will be cancelled due to the building work upgrading the school and adding nine extra classrooms,  which is scheduled to start next month.
