Thursday 7 March, 3pm-4pm - Meet the Project Manager
Join specialist heritage Site Manager Steve Bevan (from Sykes and Son Ltd) for a talk and Q&A about the latest updates on our Restoration Project and what has been changing at the Palace.
2019 is a transformational year for Fulham Palace, as the eagerly anticipated restoration will be completed by the spring. Every month, learn from Steve what has been happening onsite. He will offer the latest updates on the site works and any architectural features uncovered along the way.
Free - no booking required. This event takes place in the Tudor Courtyard.
These talks may occasionally provide the opportunity to view interior spaces where construction is taking place. Please wear appropriate clothing and suitable footwear if you wish to participate.

Wednesday 13 March, 2pm-3pm - Preserving the Palace : Talk
Hear from Jim Dimond, conservator, and discover the skills and techniques needed to care for historic paintings.
Learn about the work undertaken in order to conserve the Fulham Palace portraits and see them hung back where they belong in the Great Hall.

Wednesday 20 March, 11am-12pm - Behind the Scenes: Handling the Museum Collections
Fulham Palace has a rich and varied history that is reflected in the Museum collections, which include archaeology, paintings, engravings and even postcards. Come along to see our recent acquisitions with a rare opportunity to handle special objects not usually on display.

Friday 22 March, 7.30pm-9.30pm - Opera at the Palace
For this annual favourite, Fulham Palace is partnering once again with the National Opera Studio for an enchanting evening of opera. This event welcomes exceptional young opera singers to the Palace and is an opportunity to see the stars of the future in an intimate setting.
On the evening you will hear:
Frances du Plessis, Soprano
Adam Temple-Smith, Tenor
Nicholas Mogg, Baritone
Benedict Kearns, Répétiteur
The programme is packed with pieces by Mozart, Donizetti, Verdi, Rossini and Bizet among others and there will even be a nod to Loewe and Bernstein.
To make your evening even more special, enjoy a three-course dinner, with two courses served in one of the palace's historic rooms prior to the concert, with dessert and coffee served afterwards. Dinner is served at 6pm.

Sunday 24 March, 1pm-3pm - Hands On Archaeology : The Neolithic at Fulham Palace
An opportunity to get up close and personal with archaeology at Fulham Palace, and learn more about the rich and varied history of this ancient site.
Each session explores a different theme. This month explores ‘The Neolithic at Fulham Palace’ – people have been visiting the Palace grounds for nearly 8,000 years. Come and find out what our first residents were up to and what made our grounds such a special place.

Fulham Palace's redevelopment project is coming to a close, so these history tours are likely to be slightly different to our usual tours, including some special glimpses of the Palace as the building works come to competition. Find out more on your tour from knowledgeable guides!

Mondays and Tuesdays, 9.30am-10.30am - Palace Explorers
These fun and creative facilitated sessions are geared specifically to 2-4 year olds and their adults. The cost is £5 per child, which includes a drink and healthy snack. Accompanying adults and babies are free. Find out more and book a place here.
