Centre to be festooned with balloons to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month

On October 19, local breast cancer support centre The Haven will be descending on Fulham Broadway and decorating the shopping centre with hundreds of pink balloons.

Many local businesses are joining in with Fulham in the Pink with special pink window displays, pink products including cakes and drinks and even pink themed pub quizzes ... see if you can spot them when you are out and about.

The Haven, in Effie Road, which is also Sainsbury's in Fulham Broadway's Charity of the Year, free of charge, a wide range of therapies which help people to deal with the physical and emotional side effects of breast cancer.

On October 26, a group of cancer survivors called the Pink Buddies are holding a fundraising lunch for the Haven at the Oxo Tower Brasserie, including a set menu with a choice of three options for each course for £45. To find out more, visit Pink Buddies.
