Help Turn Fulham Pink!

Local businesses urged to support The Haven breast cancer charity

Fulham is turning pink in October!

The Haven, Fulham's specialist breast cancer support centre is urging local businesses and shops to support Fulham in the Pink a day of fun and activity aimed at helping raise awareness and funds for the charity during October, Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Local businesses will be decorating their windows, staff will be dressing up, pink parties are to be organised in bars and pubs and there will be pink cakes, cocktails and smoothies all created for the day in the name of PINK!

Local businesses already involved in Fulham in the Pink include David Lloyd, Snaffles Cakes and Treats, Emma Bridgewater, Metro Bank, Fulham Broadway Bar and Grill, Wetherspoons, Joy, John Lewis of Hungerford, Havana, Durell Arms, Brogan’s Irish Bar, The Pelican, Chateau 6, Vagabond Wines, The Malt House, Moosh and The Wheatsheaf.

The Haven plans to turn Fulham Road pink, quite literally on Friday 28 October, with 500 pink balloons running from The Broadway to The Haven on Effie Road.

The Haven says: " We have been overwhelmed by the Fulham community's generosity and support and we can't wait to turn Fulham pink and create a buzz around The Haven and local businesses. We hope this event will put a spotlight on Fulham and the amazing community spirit here."
