The Sands End pub on Stephendale Road (SW6 2PR) has reopened with a new name after an extensive refurbishment.

Now under the management of Butcombe Pubs & Inns, the venue has become the Fulham Arms.

The group has pubs across the country with many being in the West Country.

The interiors have been remodelled with a ‘modern country look’ and using a colour palette of neutrals and greens on the walls and ceilings, teamed with dark leather upholstery, mismatched wooden tables, booth seating and patterned feature wallpapers. The walls are adorned with curios and artwork, lit by glass pendant fittings. The sail covered courtyard outside has been updated for alfresco drinking and dining all year round.

The Fulham Arms is now pitching itself as a destination for events and celebrations, offering free use of The Sands End Suite for parties, get togethers, community events and meetings.

Jayson Perfect, Group Managing Director, Pubs & Inns, Liberation Group says, “The Fulham Arms is our first London site to receive a makeover, since we welcomed the pub into the Butcombe Pubs & Inns family back in December. The name change reinforces the changes we’ve made and signifies the start of this new, exciting chapter, cementing the pub as being at the heart of a thriving community.”

The company runs the Butcombe Loyalty Club, giving subscribers a range of benefits including 25% off food on Wednesdays and 20% off accommodation at all Butcombe Pubs and Inns across the country.

Mr Perfect continues, "The refurbishment is very special, as is our award-winning food and drink offering, which we know our guests have already enjoyed exploring. We'd be delighted to give anyone who wants to know more a tour now we’re up and running so they can see the transformation for themselves. It's incredibly important to us that we play an active part in this lovely neighbourhood, so we're looking forward to meeting old and new faces now we’ve reopened.”

The brunch, lunch and supper menus feature Butcombe’s food offering, with locally sourced produce, seasonal ingredients and pub classics with a twist. On Sundays, a roast will be available with the choice of Rump of Hereford and Angus beef, Cameron Naughton pork belly, Castlemead Farm chicken and a vegetable wellington all served with Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a red wine gravy.
