Road closed after blaze at the Hooked Fish Bar

There was substantial traffic disruption in the Fulham area today (9 August) after a fire hit a restaurant on the Fulham Palace Road causing it to be closed to traffic.
Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire the Hooked Fish Bar.
Part of the basement, ground floor and the ducting, which is the extraction system used by restaurants, was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 10.33am and the fire was under control at 1.49pm.
Fire crews from Hammersmith, Kensington, North Kensington and Chelsea fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
