Fire Crews Fight Blaze on Hurlingham Business Estate


21 firefighters called to Sulivan Road as smoke pours from office roof

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers from Fulham, Battersea and Hammersmith fire stations were called to Hurlingham Business Park in Sulivan Road in Fulham on Wednesday November 19 after fire broke out in an office block within the park.

London Fire Brigade say they were called at 1.53pm to find the building had already been evacuated before they arrived.

The Brigade tweeted @LondonFire: " We're dealing with a fire in an office block on Sulivan Road in Fulham. Smoke is pouring out of the roof. More soon."

It was followed by a second tweet said: " The office block fire on Sulivan Road in #Fulham is under control. Part of the roof was damaged. 30 people left building before we arrived."

It took around 90 minutes for the fire crews to get the blaze under control after 3.22pm.


No one was injured in the fire and the brigade say the cause
is now under investigation.
