One of Fulham’s top-rated restaurants is set to stop serving customers next month.
The owners of Fenn on Wandsworth Bridge Road have announced that they have decided to serve their last diners on Saturday 29 April after being in the area for two years.
The restaurant was set up by Luke Wasserman, Toby Neill and Johnnie Crowe. It served a menu based on British seasonal ingredients with much of the sourcing done from local, small-scale producers and suppliers.
However, they now saw that the staffing shortages which have plagued the industry since the pandemic have made keeping the restaurant open untenable.
Current kitchen and front of house staff have been invited to take positions across the group’s other sites - Nest in Hackney; and the recently-opened Restaurant St. Barts in Smithfield.
A statement on the restaurant’s web site says, “We want to thank all our loyal customers for your support of FENN over the last two years and we hope to see you again in the next few weeks.
