Townmead Road Stab Victim's Injuries Now 'Non-Life Threatening'

The condition of a 15 year-old boy stabbed in Townmead Road on Friday, 6 March is now being described at non-life threatening, as detectives are continuing to appeal for information and witnesses to come forward.

One male has already been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been taken into police custody.

Police say they were called to Townmead Road in the south of Fulham at 4.37 pm on 6 March, to reports of a group of youths armed with weapons.

A 15 year-old boy was found with stab injuries and was taken to a south London hospital by London's Air Ambulance.

Though his condition was initially thought to be critical, it has now been reassessed as non- life threatening,

Following the stabbing, Imperial Wharf Park on the south side of Townmead Road was closed and a section 60 Order for Hammersmith and Fulham borough put in place until 4am on Saturday, 7 March.

Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances.
