Shafiq Smith faces charges in connection with Parsons Green killing

Two teenagers have pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey to the murder of Omid Saidy in Parsons Green in October 2017.

Shafiq Smith, 18 of Brudenell Road, Tooting Bec SW17, pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder and threatening a person with a bladed or pointed article in a public place at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 9 January.

On the same day at the same court, a 17-year-old boy pleaded not guilty to murder and threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.

Both will appear at the Old Bailey for trial on Monday, 16 April.

Oluwafemi Omotosho, 19 (13.10.1998), of Pearscroft Road, Fulham SW6, who previously pleaded guilty to possession of a blade/sharp pointed article in a public place and affray, has had his sentencing adjourned until the outcome of the above trial
