One dead and two injured near scene of recent terror attack

A man has died and two others have suffered stab wounds following an incident in Parsons Green this Monday evening.

According to London Ambulance Service they were called at 7.38pm to treat the three men at the scene but one did not survive and was pronounced dead at 8.30pm. The two others were taken to hospital ‘as a priority' although there injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing. One has since been discharged and arrested in connection with the incident and is being held at a west London police station.

The fatality occurred outside the tube station which was the scene of a terror attack last month. The area around the scene was cordoned off. A helicopter circled the scene which eye witnesses report was attempting to land on the green.

It is not believed at this stage that this incident is terror related.

 

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) are investigating and enquiries are ongoing.
