Dies of gunshot wound to the head on Walham Grove

A man has been shot dead on a Fulham side street yesterday evening (5 December). Shots were fired in Walham Grove near the junction with North End Road, SW6 at around 9.30pm.
When police and ambulance services were called to the scene they found a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives believe they know the identity of the deceased and his next of kin have been informed.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command, led by Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh, are carrying out the investigation.
DCI McHugh, said: "At this early stage in our investigation I am appealing for anyone who was in Walham Grove last night, around the time of the murder, who may have seen or heard something that could help our investigation."
