Mykoo from Fulham Court was "ruthless, predatory and vicious"

Fulham man Daniel Mykoo has today been jailed for life along with his brother Mattew.

Daniel, 29, will serve a minimum of 14 years for 84 counts of robbery while Matthew, 27, was jailed for a minimum of nine years for nine counts.

As we reported earlier, the pair confessed in court to committing a total of 84 robberies and stealing over £1 million in jewellery and cash.

The brothers acted as a "strangler-robber" team, with Daniel throttling their victims - mainly women in well-off areas - from behind while Matthew stole their belongings.

Their victims included designer Nicole Farhi and BBC reporter Sangita Myska. Passing sentence, Judge Nicholas Browne QC, said the robberies were the "worst I have ever encountered" and told Daniel "you are the most prolific violent robber to be sentenced in London in recent years".

Addressing the brothers the judge said: "You have committed strangulation robberies which are in a league of their own.

"Your offending pattern was ruthless, predatory and vicious. That you were both high on crack cocaine is no excuse.

"It is by sheer good fortune that you did not kill, permanently injure or maim any one of your many victims."
