Road Closures for Fulham 10k This Sunday


Circuit includes Parsons Green, Fulham town centre and Stamford Bridge


Entries still open for this year's Fulham 10K

People living around the centre of Fulham are being reminded that local roads will be closed on the morning of Sunday, 17 November with the return of the the Fulham 10k run.

This event will start and finish on Eel Brook Common and take in a circuit that twists and turns around local roads which will be closed to traffic from 9am till midday.

The circuit will include Parsons Green, Fulham town centre and Stamford Bridge.

The planned road closures are as follows:

06:00-09:30 – Harwood Road
06:00-12:00 – New King’s Road
08:30-10:00 Filmer Road, Rosaville Road, Homestead Road, Bishop’s Road, Varna Road, Dawes Road
08:30-10:30 – Shottendane Road, Harbledown Road, Parsons Green Lane, Ackmar Road, Irene Road, Parsons Green
08:30-10:40 – Munster Road, Fulham Road
08:30-10:50 – Landridge Road, Fulham Park Road, Fulham Park Gardens, Buer Road, Rigault Road, Burlington Road

The run is open to anyone aged 15 and up, and there is still time to enter. Event company RunThrough says everyone is welcome to join in, from competitive athletes to first-timers aiming for personal achievements. It adds that the majority join in for personal satisfaction and enjoyment.

Tickets are priced £36, which includes free official event photos, chip timed results, post-race goodies and a unique themed medal. Official T-shirts are also available, priced £12.

The Fulham 10k is officially supporting CW+, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, but runners are also encouraged to set up their own fundraising pages for their chosen charities on GoFundMe.
