Campaigners Want to See 22 Bus Route Extended

Giving Fulham a direct connection to Barnes Village and Wetlands

A group of residents in Barnes, in association with the Barnes Town Centre Manager, are campaigning to get the 22 bus route extended to Barnes Village.

This would give people in Fulham a direct connection to Barnes and its attractions, including the London Wetland Centre.

The 22 currently runs a frequent service from Piccadilly to Fulham along Kings Road then across Putney Bridge and along the Lower Richmond Road, stopping at Putney Common.

The campaigners say they think many residents of Putney, Fulham and Parsons Green would use this route to get to Barnes on one bus.

This would make it easier to meet up with friends and family; to visit Wetlands, Olympic Cinema, shops and restaurants; to work in Barnes; and to get children to school. All whilst reducing car congestion and pollution.

To find out the level of demand and support they are conducting a survey and ask that if you would use this bus, please complete this survey.

It only takes a couple of minutes.
