Appeal for Information after Death of Cyclist in Fulham


Collision occurred at junction of New King’s Road and Grimston Road

Detectives are appealing for information following the death of a cyclist after a collision in Fulham on November 9.

Police say they were called to New King's Road at the junction with Grimston Road at approximately 7pm on Monday, November  9 to reports of two cyclists in collision with each other.

One of the cyclists, aged in his late 60s, sustained serious head injuries. He was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a west London hospital where he died on Tuesday.

The other cyclist involved, a 25-year-old man, stopped at the scene and assisted police with their enquiries. He sustained minor injuries in the collision and was not arrested. No other vehicles are believed to be involved.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Merton Traffic Garage are investigating.
