Cyclist Fights for Life After Crash with Another Bike


Collision occurred at junction of New King’s Road and Grimston Road in Fulham

A cyclist has been left in a life threatening condition after being in a collision with another pedal bike.

The man, who is believed to be in his sixties sustained serious head injuries after the crash which occurred at around 7pm on Monday, 9 November at the junction of New King’s Road and Grimston Road.

He was taken by London Ambulance Service to a west London hospital where he remains in a critical condition

The other cyclist involved, a 25-year-old male, stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries. He sustained minor injuries in the collision and was not arrested. No other vehicles are believed to be involved.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Merton Traffic Garage are investigating.
