Fulham Brass Band Present World Premiere of New Piano Concerto

Local composer's new work part of concert at St Ethelreda's on Sunday

This Sunday, October 25 at 3pm at St Etheldreda’s Church in Fulham Palace Road, Fulham Brass Brand are presenting an exciting afternoon of brass band and piano music, including the World Premiere of Fulham resident Robert Ely’s new work, Concerto for Piano and Brass Band.

 

The church and band are welcoming professional pianist Steven Miller, who was a finalist in the BBC's Young Musician of the Year competition to perform this piece.

The afternoon also promises an eclectic choice of music including everything from Beethoven to Adele!  There will also be music by Peter Graham, Tchaikovsky and Joaquín Rodrigo.

Tickets cost £12 on the door or £10 in advance from Wegottickets with the proceeds shared between the band the the church to help finance its new extension at St Clement's.

St Ethelreda is at 528 Fulham Palace Road on the corner with Doneraile Street.
