Fulham musicians hope to be crowned best in Britain
Good luck to Fulham Brass Band, who travel to Harrogate on Sunday September 26 to take part in the Final of the National Brass Band Championships.
This follows their winning performance in spring, when Fulham's own Brass Band were crowned champions of the London and Southern Counties region in the 3rd Section.
Competing in a strong field of 14 bands on March 20, Fulham impressed the judges with their performance of Percy Fletcher's classic piece, Labour and Love.
In the national final, the band's test piece will be Willow Pattern by Philip Harper.
The band, which was formed in 1895, consists of around 30 local musicians. Since their win in the regional finals, they have been working hard to raise funds for this trip to Yorkshire.
We'll bring you the result of the competition as soon as we have it.
