Enter the ballot to win your place at big summer event

Over 2,000 free tickets for this summer's Polo in the Park are now available to local residents.

This fast paced event takes place from Friday June 4 to Sunday June 6 and will see some of the world’s leading polo players charging around Hurlingham Park on horseback.

Through a deal with the tournament organiser World Polo Ltd, the council has 2,012 tickets to give to Fulham residents through a free ticket ballot.

Grandstands will be temporarily erected in Hurlingham Park for the event so that spectators can enjoy all the action over the three day period.

And as well as the polo itself, other entertainment will include jousting, military displays, a luxury village, Veuve Clicquot Champagne Garden and Argentine Asados barbecues.

To be included in the ballot, log onto www.lbhf.gov.uk/polo and fill in the online form.

One applicationis allowed per household with a maximum of four tickets per application. Successful ballot winners will be notified by email and can collect the tickets from Fulham Library.

Lyn Carpenter, Director of Residents’ Services, said: " Last year’s polo was enormously popular with local people and I am sure that this year’s event will be no different."
