Antony Worrall Thompson reveals gastronomic secrets behind traditional recipes
Chiswick Business Park welcomed Antony Worrall Thompson on Wednesday 23rd April to celebrate St George's Day. The celebrity chef shared his extensive culinary knowledge and treated the assembled throng of lunchtime diners to an array of classic British dishes.
Demonstrating the gastronomic secrets behind traditional recipes, Worrall Thompson spoke of the importance of using quality produce. The seasoned chef, best known for his extensive television work career, most recently presenting ‘Daily Cooks’, was keen to promote healthy dishes.
The day began with the chef speaking to the audience about his experiences and dynamic career before demonstrating how to create a succulent kumquat pickle, followed by a tantalising roast beef sandwich. The menu concluded with a classic English favourite, Eton Mess.
To mark St George’s Day, the feast's conclusion was a prize giveaway of English condiments.
