Buy A Christmas Tree
  
You can buy real Christmas trees, between three and 10 feet, plus stands, lights and decorations -  and arrange same day delivery if you can't carry them home - from Pines and Needles at Westfield. Flower Fayre in the West 12 Centre also has trees, table decorations and wreaths for the door.
Choose a Charity Card
If you want your Christmas cards to help a good cause, buy them from the Card Aid shop at Shepherd's Bush's Library at Westfield, selling cards benefiting around 300 different charities, or from a local charity shop such as FARA at 84 Uxbridge Road and Age Concern at 110 Uxbridge Road.Keep the Kids Occupied
The Music House for Children in Uxbridge Road has two events for young people in the week before Christmas:
Yoo Hoo & The Icy Wind
  0 – 6 years Family Show

  A new Christmas tale using live instruments, storytelling & dancing. 
  This action packed magical adventure stars Yoohoo, our hedgehog hero, and the oh-so-cold, Icy Wind whistling around your toes…
3 – 5 years Music & Craft Workshop
  Monday 20th December 10-11:30am
  Children £15
  Based on Yoo Hoo & The Icy Wind, Children & their parent/adult friend will experience a musical storytelling adventure which includes making an Icy Wind face mask & more.
There are also events for children at local libraries and Santa is in his Ice Kingdom at Westfield. Adventurous young visitors can combine a visit to his grotto with a trip onto the centre's ice rink.
